Georgia Council of IAIP (International)
An Association of Insurance Professionals

Home

HISTORY:   IAIP was first organized in 1938 in Denver to form an organization for insurance education purposes by nine women who were employed in insurance.

Today this organization is strong and international in scope with 320 local associations, 48 state and provincial councils and 11 geographic regions. Our purpose is furthering the professional career advancement of women and men working in the insurance industry.

There are 8 associations that make up the Georgia Council with associations located throughout the state. Membership has grown through the years in numbers as well as knowledge.   One of our goals is to gain the interest of insurance professionals throughout Georgia who would like to become members of IAIP and provide support for those who may wish to form their own local association.

IAIP has implemented an Instructor Certification Program, which will assist in certifying members of local associations to present classes and programs to others.

The Georgia Council is dedicated to insurance education, periodically offering continuing education credits through various seminars and programs, including Ethics Awareness.

The Georgia Council is a strong organization that takes an active role in community involvement.

As a member of The Georgia Council you will also be a part of  IAIP (International) and have the opportunity to attend state, regional and national meetings for networking and educational opportunities, including leadership training.  There are many motivational speakers and other insurance professionals from which to learn and look to for support.

There are many reasons to belong - but one of the best it is:
